In some editions the English reader is confused by these, and has often been led to imagine that there were several persons engaged in conversation instead of but two principal characters. We trust that we have simplified the text, and that those who read it will understand the reason for the plain, simple, and unpolished style adopted.

To those who, after studying this little book, are desirous of further acquainting themselves with the subject --- and who seek the Inner Doctrine underlying the various forms of the Hindu Philosophy, we would recommend the Lessons in "Guard Yoga," issued by our house.
