A case of healing when the disciples failed.

When the child was healed by Jesus, they asked, "Why could not we cast him out?"

He answered, "Because of your unbelief --- nothing shall be impossible unto you if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed. Howbeit, this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting." Not a distinction as to what is named disease here, but their attention is called to the great necessity of them fasting (from the beliefs and teachings of the world) and praying (the acknowledgment of the power and presence of God as all there is, invisible and visible).
