A. "The study of the genesis of creation requires the very closest analysis and adherence to principle for its understanding and application. For all scientific analysis must proceed from principle, and all demonstration be obtained through its application.

"Since theology is the science of God and his relation to his creatures; the science which treats of the existence, character and attributes of God, His laws and Government; the doctrines we are to believe, and the doctrines we are to practice; the truth of this course in Bible Study is to be found in the study of God who is the Whole, not in the study of circumstances and events of the past and the committing to memory of their dates. There is one God, infinite, omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent, whose presence being everywhere secures equal power and knowledge to His creatures and proves that He is not a respecter of persons.
