Creation, Flood, Call of Abraham
A. We hope to get the one thing we wish to
have in thought as we read the Bible. We have
seen that the first Chapter of Genesis is a revelation. If you were in the dark and a light broke
and kept growing more and more clear, you would
see things you had not seen before, and you would
think they were new creations, but it would be only
that the light was bringing into your vision that
which was there.
Creation took place in the beginning, and the
revelation is simply God's being revealed. There
is nothing else to reveal, and while God is being
revealed, something is taking place and that is
that the Self is being revealed. Everything is being revealed in the light --- one sees nothing in the
darkness. The result of light is expansion of
every energy, of all that is in you, of your consciousness; and the result is manifestation, a thing
is manifested. Word and thing are just the same.
The word of God is a thing, and a thing is the
word of God, the word made flesh.
As we go along, we have more light, therefore,
more expansion, and finally the great vision is
