The Pharisees and Sadducees again ask for a sign. "0 ye hypocrites: ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? Take heed, and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees." Why doth this generation seek after a sign? "Verily I say unto you, there shall no sign be given unto this generation." No sign was necessary; the Christ in Jesus was doing the perfect work of the Spirit according to law and order.
