The peace-makers are called happy. While they are exercised in bringing peace to others, they are, by the law we have spoken of, making their own peace, for they are in the realization of peace.

Two more strange "Blesseds" fall from his lips. They that are persecuted for righteousness' sake, and they that are reviled and spoken evil ag6inst falsely --- not the attitude of a martyr, but the love of Truth for Truth's sake is encouraged here.

Truth comes not to destroy anything real, but to fill our recognition to the full of that which eternally is.

Men of old spoke according to their light. Jesus speaks from the fuller light. "Be ye perfect."
