A wonderful tribute to the God of Wisdom, Omnipresent, Omnipotent and Omniscient, who seems to be in the past, remains in the past to this debater upon the subject of man and his destiny. The fundamental thought of the book is, all is vanity, life yields no satisfaction.

A great truth; the processes of Life are constantly changing as man slowly unfolds into the consciousness of his own individuality, his relation to God, a son of the Most High, endowed with all possibilities of bringing forth into expression the perfection that he is; a perfect part. of a perfect whole. The soul does not analyze, it realizes.

Koheleth urges a moderate enjoyment of the good things of life: "Eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; let thy garments always be white and let not thy head lack ointment; live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity." There is an inner freedom which can grow up alongside of all constraints of birth, custom, environment and ignorance.
