"To him that overcometh I will give a white stone (pure truth) and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it." Truth gives us a new consciousness of our nature, seen in the Divine I Am. Divine Name or Nature belongs to all, for "Have we not all one Father, one Source, one Life, one Substance, one Nature? Israel, then, is the elect of God, is that which God has chosen, for Israel is type of that which is spiritual in each. This is the Truth that was partially heard by Abraham, "I will make thee a great nation," and interpreted as a special or individual promise. The fuller meaning came later to Abraham, " Thou shalt be a father of many nations." It was heard more clearly by Jacob, "I will make of thee a nation and a company of nations."

To the limited conception the God of Israel has meant the God of the nation Israel; in the broader truth it means the God of the nature of Israel, the God of all spiritual nature. So Paul declares,
