do; no effort to make"? Yes, he has much responsibility; not to make results, however, but to receive the idea from the Universal Divine Mind, of that which is eternally made. Divine Truth and Law must govern his actions. Look where we will in nature, we are impressed with the Divine Law and Order that pervades all things. Law is universal; the individual must understand the Law that governs his thought, or else thought Will move ungoverned by Truth, and perfect results cannot follow.

Thought has a place in the Divine plan, has a work to do. Its place is between the Great Invisible and the Visible, the Infinite Mind and its word. Thought has been compared to a branch of a tree, and words or bodies, (the visible forms) to the fruit. The place of the branch is between the parent tree (source of all fruit) and the fruit. The branch does not make the fruit, it simply bears out from the tree that which is necessary to make fruit. The branch must always maintain its connection with the tree, and must draw entirely from the tree, if it would bear good fruit; for all the good of both branch and fruit come from within the tree. If in any way the branch separates from the tree, both branch and fruit die. By this illustration we may learn how Invisible good is made Visible by thought abiding in and drawing from its Source, which is consciousness
