Jesus, sitting at meat with a Pharisee, denounces them, with the Scribes and teachers, as hypocrites, closing his fierce denunciation with, "Woe unto you, lawyers! For ye have taken away the key (the spirit) of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye. hindered."

Jesus' instructions to his followers for all time. The Christ will rule the earth in the hearts of men.

Jesus revisits Nazareth, and is again rejected there. "A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house." And he could there do no mighty work --- and he marvelled because of their unbelief.

The twelve disciples are instructed and sent forth. Matt. 11:1. Jesus continues his tour through Galilee. The twelve, including Judas Iscariot, preach repentance, cast out unclean spirits, and heal all manner of sickness and. disease.
