with the glory of the Lord; there is a greater assurance than that. It says that the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord. We are beginning to know it now, and that glory will absorb everything into itself.

Hab. 2: 20

Hab. 3:17-18

"The Lord is in His holy temple." We read in the New Testament, "Know ye not that your body is the temple of God?" If your body feels or looks inharmonious, say, "It is a part of that holy temple"; and insist upon it. "Let all the earth keep silent before Him." Let every belief and opinion keep silent before this truth.

He rejoices in the one kingdom, whole and entire. If we are happy because of any external thing, that thing will sooner or later fail. If we rejoice in the inner kingdom, though everything outer may fail, we shall still rejoice. "Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him." Nothing is slain but personal opinion and belief, and that is being slain all the time.
