There is no direct prophecy of Jesus, the Christ. Many so-called prophecies of him did not point to the personal Jesus, but to the Christ Spirit, the Anointed One.

Gives a direct prophecy of the birthplace of the Messiah --- the clear eyes of the prophet saw the Nazarites as the holiest, the most spiritual of the Jews, and very naturally from this sect would spring the highest expression of purity and goodness, the supreme qualifications of the Messiah.

The Old Testament is a study of race development, given by the Jews, but referring to all. From the beginning it is Christ rising from the sepulchre, whatever limits or binds. What cloth Jehovah require of thee?

Very similar. We apply it in another way today we have no enemies except those we entertain in our own mentality.

Show God's mercy the promise is complete that sin shall be utterly cast out. The sin is the sinner, not the individual. It is a mental attitude that is the sinner. "He retaineth not his anger forever, but he delighteth in mercy; He will cast all their sins into the depths of the sea."
