no prophet is more daring in his ascription of passion to Jehovah; he does not hesitate to picture Him as an excited and furious warrior and as a travailing woman. Isa. 42:13-14. Israel's maker is Israel's husband. Isa. 54:5. It must be kept in mind that Jerusalem was the one spot on earth where Jehovah was worshiped. His shrine was there; there lived the only community which preserved for mankind the true knowledge of Him and His purposes, the little band of disciples to whom Isaiah committed his testimony and revelation.

Israel has turned backward. The prophet's was the voice that held the people to the religious spirit. Sodom and Gomorrah stand for destruction.

Sacrifice; rather obedience than sacrifices.

Cease to believe evil.

We shall see the purity in place of sin, ignorance.

Belief in more than one is their sin or mistake; duality.

Zion was a mount in Jerusalem, the highest ascent, highest vision. Jerusalem, consciousness veiled by conception. New Jerusalem, consciousness unveiled.

Not the personal but the dross beliefs. Zion shall be redeemed clear vision within us judges.
