Genesis --- Verily, we need to revive and to realize each for himself, the grand old record of the Genesis of creation, and come, every man and every woman of us, to the Edenic order and law of our Being. It is folly to suppose that the lines of investigation and discovery of Truth end with a knowledge of construction of form.

The individual refuses to rest content with the claim that the substance and reality underlying both ideal and visible (phenomena) is unknowable. The mere recognition of "an infinite and eternal energy, whence all things proceed," in and of itself compels men to try to find out something of the nature of that energy. Consequently, while not discarding the old records, the spiritual statements made of God manifest in the world, but working in direct harmony along the lines whence the fathers gathered material for their conclusions, we would be led to ask, what will come of it? We cannot be dogmatic in our answer as to the outcome, but will say that every new discovery tends to affirm both the oldest and the newest statements of unity.

If, in the language of natural science, there is "an Infinite and Eternal Energy whence all things proceed," the record is true, though stated in different language, that in the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God, and was God,
