Was called a ready scribe of the law of Moses.

Wall of Jerusalem stands for the very heart of things in spiritual sense; a spiritual city,

broken walls very suggestive. Why, then, was a breach in the wall?

When Israel sinned she was given to her enemies. When we err in ignorance, in our decisions, the law gives us to our enemies, our mistakes.

If there is any breach in our walls, the one who repairs it must be of pure nature.

Rebuilding of the house of the Lord. Artaxerxes stops the building of the temple. Darius, king of Persia, told them to go on. He tried to see why the building had been stopped.

Kings of Persia are recognizing the God of Israel.
