a branch bear fruit severed from its vine. God is the ground; He does not till the ground; the man of God is the ground, he does not till it; but serpentine opinions and conditions of desire till, cultivate, depend upon the outer, postpone their good and are ever seeking but never finding.

"At the east of the Garden of Eden," means in the- light of pure intelligence and wisdom of Being. "There are cherubim and the flaming sword which turns every way to keep the way of the tree of life." "Cherubim" are blessings, and "flaming sword" is the word of truth that is with God and is God in the beginning. The blessings and power of God's possibilities keep the unity of the whole, the way of the tree of life, and no ignorance can ever enter into Being or existence.

Dominion is not a power to be attained through ages of evolution; man is created with dominion and is commanded to exercise it.

If thought claims two sources, spirit and flesh, it will believe in many causes, and will be divided in its conception between good and not good. The Bible is full of warning against this divided conception.

Only those among the Israelites who had wholly followed the Lord, entered the promised land; so it is only by undivided faith in God, which means in its infinite sense, to believe only in God and God manifest.
