"Eve" means the idea of generation, to bring forth, to manifest Life. This is the true spiritual meaning, so she is spoken of as the mother of all living.

The Lord God making coats of skins and clothing them, shows that regardless of beliefs and opinions the Lord God protects, comforts and provides everything necessary. When we acknowledge the truth that we are the ground, being, atone with God, who manifests our living existence, we are ready to realize the perfect Edenic order and to dress and keep the garden in harmony according to the law of expression. "As a man soweth, the same shall he also reap."

The Lord God furnishes all food and raiment, but he who sows to the flesh believes in physical causation, and of that belief he reaps corruptible food and raiment. He believes he is clothed upon with mortality and that life is dependent upon death. This is the condition that exists when the Lord God says, "Man has now become as one of us, to know good and evil," immortality and mortality, life and death; "and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever: Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden."

"Become as one of us," stands for the condition that is not as God is; that is, not as is the tree of Life. This duality is opposed to the unity of
