The Hebrew root meaning of six or sixth, is to set, fix, establish, complete.

"Elohim" is a plural term, translated God. "Let us," means "we do" make man in our own image. This plurality of Spirit does not imply more than one God, but refers to God and His idea, man; the nature of this idea is indicated in divine communion, co-operation and oneness of purpose of God and man.

Number six denotes the finished work. Man is the family name for humanity, for the sons and daughters of God. The image of God Himself imaged, expressed in form. " The word became flesh, and dwelt among us." This image is exactly like God in all that He is. This is the only man, male or female, that God ever made and there is none other.

Phil. 2: 5-7

"Let them have dominion" means let them be conscious of being life and lord of all things, as I Am. Let them see themselves expressed in the whole. Let them be what I am, exist as I do, and be --- have--the same dominion that I am. God dominion is that given to man, male and female.
The whole is to be seen as God and God manifest.
