work of the past, an act accomplished in a set time and once for all. Divine Science declares that God is yesterday, today and forever the same, hence what has been done by Him, is that which is being done now, and that which will be done throughout eternity. The creative week of Genesis denotes equally, therefore, the past, the present and the future. The record that sets forth the truth of God's work must be true for all time, which is the eternal present.

1 John 5:11-12

"Were the Bible account of the genesis of creation not the record of God's process of self expression today, it would he merely an account of a past event that belonged to time and place and not a living truth belonging to eternity, hence not a true record at this time. The faithful adhere to the principle of at-one-ment and know themselves to be with God in the beginning, that `I and my Father are one' now. The true know that truth is actualized within them from the beginning, from the first expression of eternal Being. They witness it here and now within. If the beginning were not now there would be no creation now and no beginning could be witnessed.
