No one pays the slightest attention to new ideas offered him until he feels the need of something better. We agree that "the moral man is the one who regulates his life by the code he respects, not by devising penalties for those who have a different one."

Now, we might affirm that man is whole, perfect, free; and you might take issue with the bold statement, insisting that you are ill, limited, and unhappy. Both statements would be correct, from the individual standpoint. We would be speaking in the absolute, recognizing the potential perfection of man -- insisting that a Perfect Cause and Creator must manifest perfection in all that He creates. You would be speaking in the relative, and making an entity of the limitations now objectified in your life. As long as you do this, such limitations will be real to you.

There can be no question but that the search of humanity is to find Reality, to unloose the forces of nature, to harness them to man's utilities, to try to find out what it is all about, to give a reason for being, to try to answer the enigma of the universe. As one expressed it: "Religion is a way of living in terms of contact with Reality,
