Education is one of traditions in New Thought. This makes sense considering that the second word of the two words which make up the phrase "New Thought" is 'Thought.' We can open the heart, but we cannot force or train the heart. We can and should train the mind because this opens the door to a happy and magnificent life.

Serving New Thought serves ALL of New Thought. There are many wonderful New Thought organizations around the globe. In the 20th Century most organizations were headquartered in the United States. Increasingly there are new organizations forming in other countries which are bringing the underlying principles of New Thought to new folks. These forms follow the principles of New Thought enfolding insights from cultures around the globe.

There are scholarship programs and full tuition programs which are individualized and can be accomplished via the World Wide Web by the student.

Most of our scholarship programs follow a basic pattern.

If there are enough students to form a pod, those students will form a mutual network of support which will include prayer and shared projects. Students will not be added to a pod after a pod is formed. Starting scholarship students are given primary assignments such as demonstrating that they have internet access, can use install and use whatever programs are necessary to participation in the program.

Students who are sponsors gain more latitude than students who are on scholarship. Students who pay are sponsors and pay tuition gain more latitude than students who are only sponsors or only on scholarship.

Sponsorship begins at $31 per month which is basically $1 per day. Tuition is $3600 per year.

Scholarships reducing tuition must be fulfilled with actual quantifiable accomplishments which benefit the ongoing free public resources such as New Thought Library etc….

Generally, work assignments proceed as follows:

The Work:

1. 1. Primary Cosmology Statement
   • ~ The student will produce a primary cosmology statement which will be 10 pages in length describing the student’s understanding of how life and the universe work. This will include understandings of physics, biology, evolution, insights from social science and medicine.
   • ~ The student will give the cosmology statement a title and begin by posing and answering the question.
   • ~ Why is the Law of Cause and Effect important in New Thought?
   • ~ Throughout the statement the student will support his or her beliefs by exploring how evolution demonstrates life force? Why it is important to choose life? How can people demonstrate a powerful positive commitment to pro-active change? Why is the Divine, or That That Is, neither male, nor female but both and neither?
   • ~ The cosmology statement will include the student’s current understanding of how how the universe was formed and how this formation led to the formation of the galaxy, solar system and planet earth. Students should include mythological support for their views from various spiritual sources such as Abrahamic, Vedic, Buddhist texts, mythologies, ancient plays and other writings.
   • ~ What are the major streams of thought that contribute to the student’s understanding of the River of Life?

     • Buddhistic,

     • Indigenous,
     • Taoist,
     • Confucian
     • etc…
   • Advanced Civil Societies recognize that the highest spiritual truth imparted to humanity through humanity is the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR).
   • How does the UDHR fit into the student’s spirituality?
   • ~ What articles within the UDHR are essential truths particularly important and necessary to the student’s ability to make an informed and accurate assessment of the existing ideas and philosophies / religions in order to construct his or her personal New Thought stream?
   • ~ How can the student’s personal New Thought stream contribute to the illumination of the human condition empowering people in such a way that every person encountering the student and/or the student’s works will be better off in this life and in the future?
   • ~ Why is the UDHR the highest spiritual truth and why is it that all teachings that do not agree with the UDHR are understood to be invalid and no longer applicable to the learning and living of the higher path to the Divine?
   • ~ How will the student’s New Thought stream uplift the river of New Thought today so that more people in the world can manifest their personal enlightenment?
2. 2. Research and Describe Major Streams of New Thought Today
   • ~ The student will research and describe major streams of thought in a New Thought context from a scientific perspective such that the reader can understand how these streams contribute to and support Civil Society.
   • How do these streams of New Thought demonstrate an evolving understanding of human spirituality?
   • How are they different from each other?
   • ~ How do the works of Abel Allen, Emma Curtis Hopkins, John Bascom, Henry Drummond etc… contribute to these various streams?
   • ~ What is the English translation of “Namu Myoho Renge Kyo?”
   • ~ Why is the Lotus Sutra essential wisdom for the New Thought movement?
   • ~ How does the Tao fit in with today’s understanding of New Thought?

   • ~ Why did New Thought shrink so dramatically from 1957 to 2017?
   • ~ How is New Thought 3.0 different from late New Thought?
   • ~ Why does New Thought 3.0 attract people of advanced consciousness?

There is no Pope, nor governing council in New Thought. This in fact would be contrary to the underlying principles of these teachings. There are wonderful groups doing wonderful things and putting forth New Thoughts / Ideas.
