Mind and Spirit. It is a Law which responds to our word; that is, our thought, mental image or idea. Everything that is must first exist in the Mind of God, or our mind, as an idea which is then projected into form.

In our lives we may find comparable situations in psychosomatic medicine, which seeks to uncover mental causes for physical ailments. It finds patterns of thoughts, collections or clusters of thoughts, which are producing physical correspondents. Emotional strain and stress has been found to cause great physical repercussions. There is an invisible but adequate cause for every condition that exists in our lives.

We have much in our lives that we do not enjoy and that we would like to get rid of. There is nothing wrong about using the Law of Mind for any good we desire providing it does not interfere with another person's good. We should always ask ourselves if what we wish produces harmony, and then be sure there is no hurt in it to anyone.

We can only come into the experience of harmony by thinking harmoniously. So no matter what we profess, what the lips say, it is only from the mind and heart that the experiences of life come. So to begin to constructively use the Law of Mind rests on the conversion of our consciousness. Our life on the outer is a reflection of the inner.
