12 O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

The keynote of this Psalm is confidence in God. God is the source of strength flowing into man (verse 5) who has the Way of God in his heart, There is a continual progress from strength to greater strength (verse 7) --- see Ps. LXVIII: 28, 11 Cor. IV: 16, Job XVII: 9 --- that they may have Life and have it more abundantly. It is an individual progress --- each of the “initiates” goes on till he reaches the immediate presence of God in “ Zion,” which is the Mount of the Lord. God is twice said to be our “shield” (verses 9 and 11), a sphere of Divine protection is thrown out from the central “ Zion.” “Thine Anointed “ the internal ΧρϊσГοЅ. “A Doorkeeper “ --- This is always our position we open and close the various” doors” for our own innermost individuality to the Infinite. “Behold I stand at the door and knock “ --- “ To him the porter openeth.” I give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. He that entereth not in by the door is a thief and a robber, i.e., is not the Divine Spirit, which, because It enters by the door, becomes the increased individuality of the man him-self, and not an obsession or control.

God is also our Sun (verse 11). Sun is the physical correspondence of “God.” In our Body it is the Solar Plexus. In our Wholeness it is the centralization of the Divine in ourselves which therefore has its centre everywhere, i.e., wherever we
