TRUE VALUATION

19. Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

Herein Jesus shows how to fulfill the spirit of the commandment, "Thou shalt not steal," and also, "Thou shalt not covet."

Cease from giving any value to earthly things. The material world is without real substance in itself, and is altogether an imaginary existence.
