The Colorado College of Divine Science

Seventeenth Ave. and Clarkson St. Denver, Colorado

This College was incorporated under the laws of Colorado in the year Eighteen Hundred Ninety-Eight. A small room was fitted for class and healing work. Soon a Sunday service was begun, with twenty in attendance at the first service. Now the attendance is about four hundred and a thriving Sunday School numbers the same.

After several moves to larger quarters, the College and First Church erected their own building on a beautiful corner donated to the College. Now the Church owns a corner and will thereon erect a more suitable structure.

The College is equipped to give full courses in the Principle and Practice of Divine Science. Its curriculum consists of four courses, Primary, Training, Bible, and Normal. Thorough work and satisfactory proof of understanding in each class entitles a student to a certificate that admits him to the next in order. When possible, a student spends the most of two years in study and discipline of these four courses.

Graduation is granted only by permission of the College Board. When accepted as a graduate the student continues study and training in a Graduate Course, finishing which, he receives the diploma.

Individual training is an important part of the College work and for students from a distance who can not take the slower work, is often a substitute.
