For, truly, hypnotism has no real power --- all its apparent control comes through some one’s belief in it, not always under its modern name, but under such terms as fascination, charm, bewitchery, etc. It is the shadow-side of divine influence, and is now on its way out of superstition into science, to be lifted up and wholly redeemed through humanity ceasing to be swayed by its fears and passions.

The Law of God sets you free from every evil influence, and you realize that there is really no power in evil association for anyone. God, the Good, is the One. Influence in all and through all. You cannot be contaminated by any evil at all. Though in the world you do not partake of the world. Instead of being affected by evil influences, you are the salt of the earth, and all are salted by God in you, and made to feel clean, and pure, and healthy by your very presence, even if you do not say a word.

Meet all the malpractice of those who use their minds against you with fearless love-thoughts, and turn every curse into a blessing.
