What we put into life is the result of our own individual talents, powers and possessions. And what we take out of life is the result of our individual use of that which comes from other sources; that is, from persons, things, circumstances and events. Others may place sorrow in your life, but it will not be sorrow to you if you understand how to make all things work together for greater good. The world may place rare opportunities in your very path. In fact, the world is constantly placing such opportunities in the path of everybody, but unless you know how to take advantage of those opportunities they will be of no value to you. It is the same with all other things that may come to us from other sources. If they are good their value will depend upon how well we use them. If they are not good they will not affect us adversely unless we permit them to do so.
