The History of Thought in Philosophy and Science
The theme of New Thought Library is the history of thought. There are two major categories of human thought: Philosophy and Science. Science is a way of thinking, not an ideological term. Contained within the category of Philosophy one finds subcategies such as theology and aetheology. This is a category which blossoms in the light of the philosophical concept of truthiness which was brought to the attention of neuroscientists and New Thought theologists world wide by New Millennial theosophical genius Stephen Colbert. 'Saint Colbert' as he is called in some of our more heretical circles has presented us with a number of major philosophical notions. In fact Cobert's genius extends to every aspect of our lives. It is rumored that one of his health companies is working on a new breakthrough in extending the telomeres, and this combined with the Cheney (rotary) heart can extend the hearts of the undeserving by 1000 years.
It should be noted that at this time New Thought exhibits a robust diversity which lends to a more fuller expression of every form of New Thought. It should also be called to everyone's attention that New Thought would not exist outside of the context of article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. New Thought along with many other religions around the world is threatened whenever fascist ideologies thrive. What does this mean? The Turkish Genocide of their Armenian Citizens during World War One, is only rivaled in savagery by the ISIL (pronounced Icehole) treatment of the Yazidi people. The 20th Century closed with a blood bath in the Balkans which was predicated on ancient grudges and when the opportunity presented itself the inner angst combined with the desire for domination outpictured with brutal savagery. Can the two branches of human insight offer us a clear vision to guide us to success?
Education is one of traditions in New Thought. This makes sense considering that the second word of the two words which make up the phrase "New Thought" is 'Thought.' We can open the heart, but we cannot force or train the heart. We can and should train the mind because this opens the door to a happy and magnificent life.

Increasingly there are new organizations forming in other countries which are bringing the underlying principles of New Thought to their constituents.
There is no Pope, nor governing council in New Thought. This in fact would be contrary to the underlying principles of these teachings. There are wonderful groups doing wonderful things and putting forth New Thoughts / Ideas.
