It is quite common for an inexperienced practitioner to become alarmed when a patient seems chemicalized; but remember there is nothing to fear, and if you allow fear the mastery, you can do nothing for your patient. First conquer your own fear, and then do the same for your patient. The way you feel he is sure to demonstrate.

This is the time of all others when you want to be firm and fearless.

Since you know there is no reality in pain, never let any such condition frighten you.

Chemicalization is simply the process which both conscious mind and physical body undergo by being aroused to a consciousness of the need of taking a true base in thought, and there has to be a dissolution or destruction of old false conditions before the new basis can be reached.

It is called chemicalization because it is so perfectly symbolized by the process which chemicals go through in the change from one condition to another to recombine and produce new compounds, as in the case of wine and cider, which has a muddy, impure appearance until it goes through this chemicalization, after which the liquid is clear and pure.

Every patient or student who goes through this cleansing experience comes out with purer morals, keener judgment and perfect health of body.
