clothed?“ --- Matt. 6 :31. This is the advice of one who knew all about right living.

“Eat such things as are set before you” (Luke 10:8), he says to his disciples.

“And these signs shall follow them that believe, . . . if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them.” --- Mark 16 :17, 18.

“Nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
--- Luke 10 :19.

This is because “your names are written in heaven” (Luke 10 :20) --- that is, you realize your being and character (name) is established and under the law (written in) of the spiritual kingdom (Heaven).

You are Spirit, governed by the law of Spirit, and no earthly thing can affect you. You cannot be fatigued by material things.

“They that wait upon the Lord . . . shall run and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
--- Is. 40:31.

Whoever believes himself to be Spirit, and that matter is unreal, will not test the Truth ("tempt the Lord”) by such thinking and acting as, “I will put my hand in the fire and see if God will keep it from burning.” Such words come not from trust in God and realization that no earthly element can destroy Man, but from doubt of God, and assumption of the possibility of materiality to harm one. You are not tempting God when you go forward about your "Father’s business” of doing good, fearless of every material law and evil condition. You cannot be overworked in doing good, or be in danger from pestilence or evil men when abroad upon an errand for Christ.*
