"Call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.”

By these words Jesus instructs us to make the same claim of heavenly parentage that he does.

The fear of heredity is sometimes the only error that needs to be removed from a patient’s mind in order to heal him. Then, with this one treatment, he is set free.

Many are they who can testify to their release from the bondage of some disease or sin which was said to be their lot because of earthly parentage through denying the reality of a fleshly father and mother.

Why should good, Christian people --- patient, loving characters --- suffer from inherited affliction? Why do they not accept the promise? Why do they live under the law of Moses, as we read it in Exodus, twentieth chapter, fifth verse? Do they hate God, or Good? No. Then why should they apply that text “visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me" to themselves when they believe they love Good, and are trying to serve Good all they can?

Even under the old dispensation the curse is removed, as it is written: “The word of the Lord came unto me again, saying, What mean ye, that ye use this proverb concerning the land of Israel, saying The fathers have eaten sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge? As I live, saith the Lord God, ye shall not have occasion any more to use this proverb in Israel.” --- Eze. 18 :1-3.
