got far to go to seek this; it is nigh us (verse 9). CF. Deut. XXX:14 and Rom. X:8. This shows us the way (verse 13), which is the knowledge of “ I AM.” This combines the principles of Love and Truth (verse 10), and the result of it all is Rejoicing, Glory, and Peace (verses 6, 8,9). The Life = Principle, is the Joy-Principles and the true realization of it must make it a Joy to live: the Yoke it turned into Ease and the Burden into Lightness, and it is said to us “Enter thou into the Joy of thy Lord.”

BOW down thine ear, O Lord, hear me: for I am poor and needy.
