need therefore never fear to seek to understand these things or say they are above our understanding. As I know I live, for then I know what I am trying to do and why I am trying to do it.
Thus to know and understand points to something definite and clear, something capable of Scientific Statement and Practical Demonstration and this something is the Relation between Divine Personality and Human Individuality. Mathematically this Relation is stated as Boole’s Equation of x ( I - X ) = 0, or the Complete Circle; also as the relation of x, x ² , x ³ , etc., to x ⁿ . The knowledge of this absolute necessity of Being was the Truth for which Jesus died, as scientific statement, the greatest of all “Martyrs to Science,” and by the power of which He rose again from the dead as the Supreme Practical Demonstration. This is the true Scientia Scientiarum.

10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trustcth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.

11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

The gist of this Psalm is the unrest felt so long as we do not confess our sins to God, and the perfect peace of forgiveness if we truly confess them —as in I John I: 9.
