will take away all the sting from the lash, and bring the inflictor to true consciousness.
If you see a widow being defrauded by a dishonest money-grabber, do not let your indignation be wasted in anger and powerless denunciation. You may be mistaken in your judgment of the whole affair. Instead of dwelling upon the evil of the situation, say to him: “You desire only Good, and in your true Self you work for her highest Good as well as yours, and find your joy in it,” and to her you say: “Everything he does is a blessing, a help, and an advantage to you; God protects you,” and your word shall not return to you void.

Proceed with your patient as in the two previous treatments, with the exception of the fifth step, which upon this day is the denial of the power of sin and affirmation of the omnipotence of Love.
Intuition will reveal to you what particular belief in sin you are to dissolve with the word of Truth; but if you are not yet cognizant of this impressional nature, then you can about cover the ground by denying the reality and power of selfishness, pride, avarice, envy, jealousy, and malice.
One method of treatment is that of continually realizing the Divine Character and Man’s unity with It.
