11. Only Good Can Come

H ER EYES SHINING with a bright inner light that radiated peace and happiness, a Truth student came to me recently, saying quietly, "I've learned another great lesson through the Unity teachings, and wish to express my appreciation by telling you a bit of the experience, if I may."

Seeing my interest, she sat down for a few moments and related very simply:

"During a recent personal experience concerning human relationships, I found myself filled with confusion, doubt, and fear and I wondered why such a trial had come into my life. During this time I held the thought, 'It is only for good.' I did not know what the outcome would be. I did not know the reason for the happening. I could not see any good in the condition. I could not see how it could benefit anyone concerned. All I could do was go forward in faith step by step each day.

"Every day I held to the words: 'It is only for good. Only good can come. All there is is God. All there is in this is God and God's good. Only
