| 6. Simple Prayer
PERHAPS you are now saying: "Yes. I agree that I should relax and let go of the difficulty and let God do the work, but how am I going to be able to do this when outer difficulties press upon me and the need is so desperate, so urgent? How can I relax and let go, and pray easy as you say ?"
Several years ago, while I was talking with a loved friend and Truth teacher, she mentioned that she seldom asked the Father for anything when in need, but, instead, used often the simple words, "Father, I'm trusting!"
She used them when she did her studying, as she went about helping others arise out of their difficulties, as she carried out her daily tasks and household duties, repeating the words either silently or aloud with calmness and assurance.
When I encountered a personal trial a short time after this, these words returned to me with new emphasis and meaning. When I repeated them in a quiet, but firm, manner, the burden was lifted and the problem solved. In other instances
