Public Domain New Thought Texts presented in a clear and easy to use format for studying, teaching and enjoyment.
Below you can read about how the books are processed.

A NEW THOUGHT LIBRARY YOU CAN READ ONLINE!
Notes on text processing & presentation:
When the Global New Thought Team processes a text, it is scanned from original Public Domain work, then run through photo enhancement software lightening the often aged & darkened background while increasing the contrast of the print. Then using Optical Character Recognition (OCR) software, the pics are converted to text and the text goes through "primary error checking" Then the text is saved as a .doc file. The text is then cut and pasted into dreamweaver, then put through another error check. Finally extra checking is done and it is placed on line. Once in the Online Library, New Thought Sharers and Seekers around the world who have original copies of the texts check them against the original for possible errors that we have missed. In some cases texts have been processed elsewhere and sent to use as text files. These texts must also go through error checking against originals.

If, a text is processed elsewhere then sent to us, it might have been "hand typed" or key punched. This often results in errors or in "editing to modernize the work" which alters the authors intent. As we discover such errors (with your help) we will fix them.

We have linked to many sites in the past which have gone down, vanished with their texts into the blackholes of cyberspace. Fortunately as Stephen Hawkins points out, even when texts vanish into blackholes, information is still left behind. This is often how some vanished texts come to us. There are many well intentioned individuals on the web but their interest in serving New Thought Seekers and sharers is either short lived or tied to the desire for profit. If their interest fades or they don't make money, they let these works drift into the black holes. Sometimes intelligent individuals who wish to help seekers and sharers send us this work and we are able to preserve it for you, for free, forever.

IF we processed the text then it will have the original pagination both on the page and the page htm file name. We generally use a 14 font or larger for easy reading.

Usually the original pictures are saved and stored on DVD so that later when
DVD's are made available you will be able to view the original text scans, and can make plates to reprint the texts or as technology develops, you can create other ways to share the texts.

We invite sharers and seekers to participate in the process, both in the creation or expansion of the biographies or in the processing of the texts themselves.

Editorial notes may be added to the texts at some time in the future but the online texts are preserved and served in their original format. If when reading a text, you find an alteration or omission, please report this to the Webmaster so that this can be remedied. It is important to include the author, name of text, page number, paragraph, and the actual mistake. Amendments are made regularly when we are informed of an error.

We have searched the world buying rare and wonderful New Thought Texts in the Public Domain to bring them to you to read for free on the web!

has a special place in the History of New Thought. Having gathered her ideas from Phineas Quimby, she added her own and founded a church based on her "revelation".
