PROSPERITY CONSCIOUSNESS
Question—How does one establish the prosperity consciousness?

ANSWER—A sense of prosperity with its accompanying beneficial result is established through the continual recognition that right and harmonious action is, and is ever flowing to us, through us, around us and everywhere. Do not try to make things happen but try to sense that the principle of life is producing right action in everything you do, say or think. When a cloud of confusion or doubt appears on the mental horizon l0ok at it until you know it has no power, penetrate the mist of uncertainty with the firm conviction of reality until the mentality sees, even in the midst of confusion, an eternal peace and abundance. What a man has, as well as what he is, is a result of the subjective state of his thought. When the time comes that doubt no longer rises from your consciousness you will be free.

ELIMINATING FEAR
Question—How can we rid ourselves of fear? Would working for perfect love be enough?

ANSWER—There is no man living who has completely eliminated all fear or all hurt. It is our belief that when the time comes there is nothing in us that would or could do harm, we shall never again be hurt. But that is apparently quite a way ahead in our evolution. When the time comes in the life of any individual that he knows that everything is all right, that there is nothing fundamentally wrong with the universe, he will cease being afraid. It will come to all of us somewhere, sometime. Until it does come, we must treat the present fear and always be tending toward the perfect goal. (page 74)
