For some, the contemporary American New Thought Movement began with Ralph Waldo Emerson and Henry David Thoreau.
For others, it began with Phineas Quimby.
And others, it began with Anne Hutchinson.
And still others, it began with Thomas Paine.

As the new generation of the New Millennium lifts up its eyes to the light of truth, we evolve the answers within the tradition of New Thought, by letting go of those old New Thought ideas which are bankrupt of higher wisdom, or steeped in supersticion, holding onto those New Thought ideas which uplift and support our journey here and now creating a more compassionate world which values all life and sees biological diversity as our greatest treasure.
While the eggheads debate the fine points of New Thought history, we enjoy the fruit of their labors and know that as we develop a solid spiritual practice, we can thereby transform our thinking and thus our lives.
